Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to the Bulwark Automated Cloud Posture Assessment (“Bulwark”, “Service”) offered by PARAMATRIX TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED.

By placing an order for Bulwark, you agree to the terms below.


1. Nature of Service
  • Bulwark is a digital, automated security assessment service.
  • Bulwark delivers a purely digital service and no physical goods are shipped.
  • Each order is a one-time, pay-per-scan purchase.
  • There is no subscription; once the scan is completed and the report is generated, the service for that order is considered delivered. The assessment report is advisory in nature and does not guarantee the identification of all security risks or misconfigurations.
  • Bulwark accesses only configuration metadata required for automated security assessment. No customer data, application code, or content is downloaded or stored beyond what is necessary to generate the report.
  • The customer is solely responsible for providing accurate cloud account access, correct permissions, and configurations required for Bulwark to run. Any failure caused by customer-side configuration issues will not be treated as service non-delivery and is not eligible for cancellation or refund.
2. Limitation of Liability

Bulwark provides automated analysis based on available configurations. No security tool can guarantee detection of all vulnerabilities. Paramatrix shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from decisions based on the assessment report.

3. Cancellation Policy
  • You may cancel your order and receive a full refund automatically if the scan has not yet started and you request cancellation within 10 minutes of successful payment.

After 10 minutes or as soon as the scan begins (whichever is earlier), the order becomes non-cancellable because the service is considered delivered.

4. Refund Policy

In general, all successful payments are non-refundable.

However, refunds may be considered under the following exceptional circumstances:

  1. Duplicate payment
    • You were charged more than once for the same Bulwark order due to a technical or banking error.
  2. Payment success but service non-delivery due to our fault

    The payment is successful, but due to a technical issue solely at the end of PARAMATRIX TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED:

    • no scan is initiated, and
    • we are unable to deliver the service even after reasonable troubleshooting.
  3. Refund Not Applicable for Customer-Side Issues

    Refunds will not be provided for:

    • incorrect cloud access or IAM permissions
    • failure to complete cloud connection
    • wrong asset tier selection
    • scan already started or completed
  4. Obvious tier-selection mistake

    If you contact us within 24 hours of payment, the scan has not started, and you clearly purchased the wrong (too low) tier, we will either

    1. give a full refund or
    2. let you upgrade by paying only the difference.

By purchasing assessment scan, the customer agrees not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for transactions covered under this Cancellation & Refund Policy.

If any refund is approved by PARAMATRIX TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, it will typically take 15–20 working days for the amount to be processed to the end customer, depending on the payment gateway and issuing bank.

5. Third-Party Dependencies & Force Majeure

Bulwark’s operation depends on third-party cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Service delay or failure due to provider outages, network errors, throttling, or force majeure events will not qualify for cancellation or refund.

6. Indemnity

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Paramatrix Technologies Limited from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of:

  1. incorrect or unauthorized cloud access provided by the customer,
  2. misuse of the Bulwark report, or
  3. customer-side configuration errors or security lapses unrelated to the Bulwark service.
7. Complaints and Grievances

If you believe the service received is not as described or you face any issues with your Bulwark assessment, please contact:

Our team will review your complaint and take an appropriate decision, which may include assistance, clarifications, or re-running the scan if required.

Support queries will be responded to during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM IST), excluding public holidays.

8. Misuse or Abuse of Platform

Paramatrix reserves the right to deny service or suspend access without refund in cases of suspected misuse, abuse, violation of terms, or activities that compromise system integrity.

9. Changes to This Policy

PARAMATRIX TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on the Bulwark website. Continued use of Bulwark after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Dispute Resolution

Parties shall attempt amicable resolution within 15 days. Failing which, disputes shall be referred to a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Seat: Navi Mumbai. Language: English. Arbitrator fees: as per Schedule IV.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by Indian law. Courts at Navi Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
